9-1 record, with his only lose being a Split Decision and all his wins he's Finished in the 1st round.
Not bad, I'll definitely be paying attention.

Grudge is a great camp and Greg Jackson will help him. Thatch's brutal Muay Thai striking s his prime attack, that I have heard about. What I have heard his MT plum is soild and he is like 6'2 so knees have room and get there fast and hard.

I remember GSP saying this kid is going to be a future star.

The question to me is at WW there are so many great grapplers, so can this MT specialist stuff at TD? I guess we will see...

UFC signs Colorado-based welterweight Brandon Thatch to multi-fight deal

UFC signs Colorado-based welterweight Brandon Thatch to multi-fight deal | News

Brandon Thatch thought a UFC deal was just around the corner.

Turns out he was right. The Colorado-based welterweight has signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion. Sources close to the fighter on Wednesday confirmed his signing to MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps), though he doesn't have his first fight lined up yet.
"I train with UFC athletes all the time and I feel like I'm at the same level – or if not, just a little under," he said. "I feel like I'm ready for the big leagues, and there's no reason I couldn't compete (in the UFC)."
