BJ is the best kind of fighter. his look is so decieving that you would think that he couldn't kick anybody's ass. but then when he fights...it's done! his only losses have all come by decision! if he loses tonight, it will be by decision, nothing else.
I'd just like to point out that I called this match almost perfectly. I gave Penn 1 minute longer than he got, and you sir, were horribly wrong.

Your are right on about how close the penn hughes fight is. I am completely stoked for that one. Still got BJ though.

Swick Vs the Crow I have a feeling that Mike Swick is going to get the same type of treatment leben got from Silva. The Crow is on a different talent level than anyone he has faced so far. Swick def has talent but I haven't seen him really put to the grind. If he pulls this one out then he def belongs in the top 10 MW in the world. I am looking forward to some great fights tonight!

I know most of the time on this forum I sound like a wannabe moderator, and here I go again, but this is one of the most sensible and knowledgeable threads to appear here. Nobody is talking out of their ass.

Hughes and Penn are awesome f'n fighters and both are going to be at the top of their game. Swick? The Crow? I am always e-mailing "I told you so" to buddies after my predictions, but who the hell can call these two fights? I am so f'n fired up to see this PPV that I have been walking around all day with my hands wrapped and my ankles taped...

Honestly, I hate to say it but I do think Penn might lose this fight. I don't want him too and I think he is the better fighter but I think what happend to hughes that night was the same thing that happend to Royce. I don't think he was prepared correctly. I hope im wrong but thats what rematches are for. I think BJ is more talented but Hughes is the bigger and stronger fighter and if Hughes has his sub game up to par then I could see Hughes winning the fight. I really hope BJ wins though.

Hughes by sub unless Penn won't tap, then Hughes by ref stoppage.

    Prediction

I predict a referee stoppage. Matt Hughes wins a good match that turned relatively boring in the middle of the 2nd round. It stays on the ground from here on in, with a quick takedown by Hughes at the start of the third round. Hughes stays on top of Penn and wins with the GnP when Penn is taking too much punishment and unable to do get out, about 4 minutes into the 3rd round.

BJ is coming in at what 166? He is definitely in shape for this fight. SHould be a war. He sounds focused on proving the first fight wasn't an abberation and Hughes sounds like he wants to prove to everyone that he is the dominant WW in the world. SHould be a great fight and I can't wait to watch. BJ round 2.

im not sayin that =) im sayin Penn can bring his A game and still lose but if he does bring his A game its gonna be a very very very hard fight for Hughes and Penn SHOULD win but doesnt mean he will.
