wasn't he the KOTC LHW champ at the time that he was signed with UFC?
I think that he fought at HW in KOTC.

If you have seen his two fights in the UFC, you got to admit it didn't look like he belong in today's MMA ring (maybe early UFC not in today's). Even if a guy fights one dimensional, he has to have other things under his hat if his main strength is stuffed. Combs just looked like a guy who was coming to a no-holds barred fight.
Ive yet to see him fight but i hear he's very limited to say the least! The UFC needs "Fillers" or "cans" to build up their younger fighters, so i imagine thats why Combs was put in there.

He was undefeated with 9 first round kos and 2 first round subs. Ive seen 4 or 5 of his fights outside of the UFC and he has a ton of power but he was never really challenged. I would love to see him fight a stiker so he can actually show what hes good at. With a good team I think he could go far. Best of luck to him and I hope to see him in at least one more UFC fight.

The UFC is desperate to buld up a LHW division. They brought this guy in ,b/c he's an exciting fighter who at the Time was undefeated ,finishing most of his fights by (T)KO.

Vera beat Mike Whitehead before coming to UFC so at least he had 1 solid win prior to being signed.

Yeah Shannon Ritch is 38-61. Saying he's not that great is an understatement lol
