As far as CB/Amir....CB butcherd Amir up until 2 min in the last round, I wouldn't want to give a $100,000 contract out to someone who just got wooped like that then got lucky by getting an Armbar on a tired, out of gas foe. CB needs to watch that... I say without a dout CB easilly takes the finals, I really don't see him making the same mistake.

Amir reminds me of Nate Diaz, every fight he's getting his ass wooped then somehow in the end lucks it out! Not really the dominant fighter I want to see win the show.
I had the Amir/CB fight much closer than that...I don't think Amir was ever hurt or lost composure...where Dolloway clearly was rocked several times and needed to clinch to recover. I felt it was a matter of time once he gassed, nothing "lucky" about it.

I'm not sure how cardio-less lay and pray can be considered dominant in CB's case...or were you talking about how he barely edged Credeur [a BJJ guy, not a striker] standing? Or was it takedowns that didn't go anywhere?

Its pretty obvious to me that UFC is going to give the TUF winner and Jesse couple of easy fights and build up a so called, "the real TUF finale".
I just saw the episode and I must say Jesse deserved to get kicked out. But I wonder if they would have kicked out CB if he did it. But in any case, it seems like CB will be marketed a lot more than Amir no matter what happens in the finale.

The UFC does not need ANY more lay and pray fighters! The fans will boo that shit everytime! And for good reason, it's horrible!
    Heh... Billy Idol lip!

I knew I'd seen that somewhere before. Good call.

yeah...deep down i was thinking that Dana may just have saved JT some REAL hard times. I think he was right. As the pressure and fame and money mounted, things would have just blown up worse...and if you rage out at that point....it can be very bad.

And ya know something else? I feel bad for JT. He's the kind of dumb animal who doesnt MEAn to do harm...but does. What a freaking shame...cause he prolly woulda won it all.

I wouldnt have minded watchin JT pound on CB for a while...ah well.

lastly, im surprised no one is upset at dana for his call. I'm not, but I expected at least SOMEONE to bash him for bootin JT money.
I'd much, much rather watch CB/Amir again than watch Jesse fight either.

I agree that he'd probably win... he's very good. He's just not very entertaining, IMO.

As for the part in bold, I agree with that too. I think he's a good hearted guy. He just doesn't have a brain in his head.

I'd rather have seen May made an example of... that guy's just a coniving prick. Unfortunately, he's smarter than "JT Money".

I haven't really watched every episode because there were only 2 people who interested me. I watched the Amir and CB fights all season and skipped the rest. I did watch all the fightsd last night and damn Tim showed me something. I actually thought maybe Tim beat CB. It was extremely close.
