That is not a waste of Shoguns time. This is the PERFECT come back fight for Shogun. He gets to play on his repaired knee, and a freak accident-loss.

There is no way in hell this match would be at 205, did anyone see Kerr fight Taktarov at Yamma? Although he was awesome back in the day, I think he came to the ring in a mumu for that fight, see the attached picture.

If anyone remembers the British show Alexei Sayle's Stuff, when they say "Who's that fat bastard?", I think they are refering to Kerr.

Forget the sauna, the only way he would make weight is with liposuction.

I didn't realize he was fighting so light, I remeber back in the UFC he use to fight around 240-245.

If he fights Wanderlei, I can see another Pete Williams UFC 17 type knock out (of course with knees or punches this time).

I think you are right but now they get to feed him to an up and comming 205er. I say feed him to Machida and trhen give Machida his title shot that he has earned.

He'll be a power house at 205. Ridiculously strong! If only he could learn some sub and punch defense and if only he wasn't so old.
