I can't believe that noone is talking about the fighter purses and the fact that for the most part the ufc is really starting to pay their fighters. As the purses get bigger coupled with the better endorsement deals the ufc has for fighters, it won't be long before they start getting some of the pride talent.

UFC 60 Fighter Purses & Other Business Info

The following is the business report from the UFC 60 "Hughes vs. Gracie" show on May 27th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Total house: 14,765 in attendance with 10,347 paid for a total gate of $2,900,090.

The main eventers had different deals than anyone else on the card, in that they were guaranteed a large sum of "show money" but were also entitled to a percentage of the pay-per view, which according to early estimates is going to make them a lot of money.

Royce Gracie was given a downside guarantee of $400,000 for the fight, but with the PPV cut he'll wind up making well over a million dollars. That's not even including his own personal sponsors.
