As much as he says he's glad he doesn't have to do business with him you also know he's pissed that his name that was primarily built up in the UFC is gonna be used to help promote Bellator.

Tompkins had a certain way that he ran his practice and drills, and there have been fighters who were not happy with Tompkins either.
From what a few of my friends from the London, Ontario area have relayed to me is that Tompkins was brought down to Xtreme Couture with alot of fanfare as being a striking guru and when a bigger fish became availible in boxing champion Gil Martinez, Randy just swept Shawn aside to become a glorified assistant striking coach(not sure where Ron Frazier fits into this). It all just sounded very mercenary and there are similar stories with former training partners, where Randy will just roll over them to improve his own standing.

Keep in mind though, I'm not a Gil Martinez fan and don't like the way he handled Gray's exit from the camp.

The way he separated from his second wife and the fact that his Team Quest teammates and business partners sided with his wife, was pretty interesting and seems pretty harsh. Things concerning the way he runs/ran Xtreme Couture in Nevada that was pretty jerk-ish, especially the way he handled Shawn Tompkins are pretty illuminating. He's also been quite mercenary in his willingness to fight those who themselves believe are close to him. And then there's his incredulity and hostility to those who even broach the subject of TRT and potential PED usage.

These BE articles give some broad strokes on Couture's less than stellar actions. Other than that, most MMA journalists aside from Loretta take a pretty hard stance on Randy and conflict with the image of "Captain America"

I also did side with UFC over the whole lawsuit in 2007, but that's because I felt that he signed a deal and he should have honoured it. Others saw it differently. By no means did I think he was a prick for doing it, it's just that if I had to choose based on what I knew of at the time, I sided with the UFC.

Nonetheless, good points you brought up. I'm half on the Randy Couture is a prick bandwaggon.

I'm not saying it may not be true, but I use inductive reasoning here. If Randy looks good to other fighters, in pre-fights, post-fights, on TUF, to actors, then good chance that he is a good guy.

Have his ex-wives even spoke about him?

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic in suggesting it. IE - Dana's way of getting revenge on Randy would be letting Miller beat up his kid.

Pretty sure Kim had some unflattering things to say about him during their divorce.

Dana White Happy to Never Have to Do Business with Randy Couture Again | MMAWeekly.com

According to White, Couture isn’t what he seems. His public persona doesn’t match the real man.

“Randy Couture comes off as the greatest guy in the world, Captain America. He’s the furthest thing from it, and I’m happy to not be in business with him anymore,” said White during the UFC 156 media day on Thursday. “Now I don’t have to be in business with him ever again.”
White’s comments may come as a shock to some, but he maintains they won’t be a shock to anyone that actually knows Couture.

“99.9 percent of the people, that won’t be shocking at all, people that actually know him, not people who watch him on TV,” said White.
Couture is a former two-division UFC champion. Only he and B.J. Penn have accomplished that feat. He coached opposite Chuck Liddell in the debut season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” and the two had one of the most famous trilogies in mixed martial arts history.

Couture holds the record for most championship fights in UFC history with 15 title bouts. He is a legend in the sport, but White says he didn’t get to know the real Couture until 2007.

On October 11, 2007, Couture abruptly left the UFC. He and the promotion engaged in a legal dispute. Couture essentially lost the court battle and returned to the UFC in 2008. White says it was then that he got to know the real Randy.

“When that whole lawsuit went down, when he lied about his numbers, and lied about a lot of things, went into court and it didn’t work out for him, I’d say that’s when I really got to know him,” said the UFC president.
