I don't like TRT and think Bisping has a right to be pissed off after the fact, however the way he lost the fight had nothing to do with Vitor's testosterone levels, but Bisping's own inability to follow the appropriate gameplan, with explicit focus on Bisping's flawed footwork, which was horrible in the Vitor fight....

On top of that, when you fight someone like Vitor Belfort or Alistair Overeem, you kind of have to go in accepting that there is a high probably they're on the gas and may or may not get popped. It isn't a shocker with Vitor and Bisping should know this.

Name me one fighter who would say what you just said. Did Kongo think he was out against Barry? I bet Kongo wouldnt be thanking the ref if he stopped it. Two different fights granted, but shit even Fitch thought he was good to go after Hendricks.

My point is: Its not the craziest thing ever to hear a fighter say "I could've gone on." Is it?

................And he said everything else I mentioned lol, which is true as far as I know.
Actually, Id take the word of an outside observer over a fighter when it comes to someone's condition following a jarring blow. And the opinion of the ref >>>>>>> the fighters opinion. Most of the time fighters who suffer a KO/TKO need to go re-watch the tape to see exactly what happened, let alone how THEY are feeling. lol?

The reason the referees stop the fight once you drop, is to protect you from taking anymore unnecessary damage. Once you're hurt and not intelligently defending yourself, your chances of coming back to win the fight drop drastically. Is it possible to recover and mount a comeback? Yes. But also at what cost? Just because you're not separated from consciousness, doesn't mean you're not taking serious blunt force trauma to the head.

The refs can't take the chance that at some point in the near future you might regain your senses and eventually stop the guy from pounding your face in.

You have to show them that you are making an adequate effort to salvage your brain cells now, not later. In Bisping's case, at the time, he did not look like he was going to be able to go on.

Btw, despite the fact that Kongo won, that fight should have been stopped the first time he was out. Who knows how much long term damage he sustained from that fight alone.

He is wrong. He was not fine and the referee saved his ass from getting hurt much worse. In fact he should be thanking that ref rather than questioning him by saying he stopped it too soon.

I hate Anderson but respect the hell out of him for staying clean, he's older then most of these fools on TRT.

Oh yeah, Bisping had him right where he wanted him. That dangerous fetal-guard position that was taught to him by the Gracies' themselves.

Was it Vitor's TRT that caused Mike to drop his hands when Vitor threw that head kick?
