Shogun has beaten a lot of top fighters hell he beat Rampage, Liddell, Griffin and Machida in convincing fashion. Jardine gives everyone trouble due to his awkward fighting style.

Shogun's take downs in those fights came when he was getting beat. Much like the Vera fight.

Man Vera threw everything he had at Shogun. Vera just doesn't have that big KO power.

Matmatically if Vera got back to fighting how he use to he is a legit threat to most. I injoyed watching Vera at his best, but mentally he lost it some where. Aslong as we get some great fights from him than I'm ok with it.

I've always bought into Brandon Vera, but guys are too happy to take him down and Vera never seems able to get off his back and expends alot of energy in the process. If he could fill that hole in his game, he's a scary fighter for any LHW....not too sure about HW though.

I don't think he will ever see a title fight in either division.

Here to put a smile on everybody's face

    Vera vs Diabate

Both men are getting up there in age both lethal strikers both would be coming of the shelf from leg injuries and would just make for instant fireworks.

Yawn...already heard this shtick when he was young and on a winning streak. At least now he isn't saying he will get the belts.

Silva rematch would be good, and makes the most sense out the ones you listed for sure. I think Machida and Mousassi would be great fights since both would probably stand with him which not too many fighters are willing to do. Jacare though, I think he subs Vera inside the first.
