Can't believe Nate let himself get backed against the cage like that. The chances of getting knocked out by someone like Ellenberger go up considerably when you do that.

I really thought Dillashaw would have gotten a little bit of credit for his KO. Especially seeing as how there was no SOTN.

UFC 158 Bonuses, Attendance & Gate
The Fight of the Night bonus went to the co-main event fighters Carlos Condit and Johny Hendricks. The two top welterweight contenders fought to a decision in an action-packed war. Hendricks’ wrestling was the difference in what was a Fight of the Year candidate.

Jake Ellenberger’s first-round knockout of Nate Marquardt earned him the Knockout of the Night award. Ellenberger, known for his knockout punching power, landed a combination along the cage the knocked Marquardt down. As Marquardt struggled to grab a leg, Ellenberger delivered a right hand that rendered him unconscious.

There was no Submission of the Night bonus for UFC 158 because there wasn’t a submission finish in the 12 fights on the card.

Those are much higher numbers in both categories than the promotion’s last trip to Montreal.
