To all you guys being proud of a genetic accident, here is what Carlin thinks of you Irish and Irish-Americans:

Be proud of what you actually achieve.

I actually just started getting into Tullamore Dew and I gotta say, I'm digging it. My go to is Bushmills Green Label or Knappogue Castle.

My boss just got a bottle of Redbreast 15 year for his birthday. He's not a real drinkerand usually after he tries something he decides he doesn't like it and gives it to me so I'm hoping it falls my way soon.

Bourbon is something I'm just venturing into, but right now I've got a bottle of Maker's 46 that I'm rather enjoying.

I just like that smokier bourbon taste. I wouldn't class myself as a connoissiour or however you spell it, but as I get older I find myself venturing more and more into different whiskeys.

I've heard Gentleman Jack is good, ever have it?
Gentlemen Jack is better than JD. But I think everything is better than JD. Powers is better than JD, and I think Powers tastes like kerosene.

If you're looking for smokey, there are a few Speyside scotches you should try.

Which was odd, come to think of it...the most time I was in the UK and the Republic, I found a lot of people--30 and younger, mostly--drinking Bud and other crappy American beers, and crappy American liquor. When I was working in London the tourist trap I served in made a killing serving Miller High Life, which has to be the worst beer ever bottled.

The good part for me is that I made a ton of money selling off Levi's and Red Sox gear to punters.

    Welcome to my world, son.

J.D. works for me, I getting wicked hangovers off Jameson. I dont drink beer much at all, never really liked it.. makes you piss too much and get full.

I had some Tullamore Dew before, it was pretty good.
