As for the half as many losses as he does wins i say this; his only losses in almost 4 years is to Anderson Silva. That should say something about the kind of fighter Chael is.
No, i don't think chael could beat those people. He was outmuscling guys at MW. If anything people give chael too much credit because he talks shit. If Chael fought the rampage that fought Jones I think he would get ko'd.. And lyoto is a bad match up for a lot of wrestlers. He may decision shogun, but i think shoguns submissions would give sonnen fits on the ground and sonnen would be shitting bricks when ever they are on the feet.

The only win that Sonnen has in the last 4 years that stands out is his win against Okami. This is the only thing that gives me any hope that chael can do something at lhw, but it isn't enough to make me blind to how deep lhw is (imo) compared to mw.

But looking at Jones who has been unstoppable, beating guys like lyoto, shogun, and rampage (finishing them all none the less) and then looking at Chael who almost has half as many losses as he does wins.. Jones should take this easily.

Also, I still want Chael to win, just cause it would make the LHW division interesting for a while.

if you took into consideration his (sonnen) skill you would know that this in fact wont be a "pretty easy one" and his track record should speak for itself...In the last 4 years no one has had a "pretty easy win" against sonnen and his only loss is to the greatest fighter to ever step foot on this planet in Anderson Silva.

The second I believe AS stuffed a takedown and things got a little wonky there after the short grab. Chael got reckless with his standup and we all know what happened.

So I guess you could say he had a pretty easy time. He definitely won and did so in decisive fashion. But it wasn't a cake walk.
Yeah it wasn't a cake walk but Chael made some mistakes and Jones is like Anderson in that they take full advantage usually when their opponents give them an opening...their really good and just hard to do damage against which makes it easier for them to adjust. I just think Jones will either get a choke, stop the takedown completely, or eventually stop it and pick Chael apart. I just think it'll be hard for Chael to set up his takedowns cause Jones striking is a bit ahead of his and I don't think Jones is the kind of guy you can just bullrush or overpower. Plus Jones has looked good late into title fights and it'll be tough for Chael to hold up steadily for 5 rounds against the best right away when he's moving up a weight class. He could put up a better fight than I'm expecting but I would be pretty shocked if he won.

This should be a walk in the park for Jones.
If it does not happen, then simply Jones did not prepared well for this fight.

Jones is bigger, way more skilled, younger, more athletic.
His stand up is much much better, his BJJ is much much better, maybe in wrestling Chael is better, but seriously Jones should not have any problem beating Chael in the 1st or 2nd round.

If chael doesnt fall on his ass who knows what happens. I guess you can say chael made it easy for anderson in that case but by no means was it an easy win up until that point.

Chael's biggest win at 205 is Jason Lambert.

Jones is a very big LHW.

Jones has better wrestling than Anderson.

Anderson had a pretty easy time his 2nd fight with Chael when he was 100%

I think it'll be a pretty easy fight for Jones.
