or how about people start talking about Vera when he actually does something.Him and his nasty ass porn stache hasn't done enough to get the hype he gets.People saying he could beat Chuck and he's going to be HW champ and LHw champ is ridiculous. Why b/c that's what he said?

i saw an interview with tito which shocked me, he said that he wanted his title back very bad, but he said that weather or not chuck wins, he wants chuck to prove that he can beat him. Vera would smoke tito and he would prove that he can hang with the top light heavywiehgihts.

I think that he is a lot of hype now, but he was good in his prime. He fights different now. He has 2 career knockouts (I think), and now he wants to stand in the middle of mat a swing with Tito. That is not what he does well. About 1/3 of his wins were from submission. As far as for Tito 10 years ago no one will ever know that. Oh, and the sucked comment is something I got from you writting that he could not beat the inferior competion years ago, so he must have not been that good. Shamrock went 6-2-2 in the 90's and Tito went 4-2 during that same time and that is when Shamrock was facing the top competion and Tito was just starting.

Hell, Steve Jennum won UFC 3 in 1994 as a replacement for Shamrock and had a career record of 2-3 as of 2/97.

Shamrock never had that great of a career. He never won a tournanment event against guys that weren't that skilled back in the day.

You must be like 12 to think that. He is a true legend, and a pioneer of MMA. In Japan they idolize his shoot fighting, and submission skills. Yeah he is pretty old now, but in his prime he would own everyone in his weight class, and even some heavier guys. He is one of the best all around fighters in MMA history.
