ended up 2-2 for my bets in this card but Brown was by far the biggest and paid the best. My Thomson win almost covered my other two losses and Brown made it a nice card for me. Ill post all of my plays in the betting thread next time.
Of all the fights to fuck me last night, I didn't think it would be Larkin LOL!!!
I had all three Alpha Male guys, Romero, Njokuani and Larkin. Fuck.
I made a 12 pick parlay in which I won every single pick except for Brown/Mein.
$1 yielded $86.26. I made a minuscule bet through a few parlays of $7.50 that would have made around $275 had Mein would have won.
I also got Thompson, Mir and the under in main event at 4.5
Ahem, easy money
Cat has it right. The reason odds move up and down is because bookies are trying to make the right amount of money on each side so they make profit either way. The odds of not a indication of their honest belief of a fighters chance to win.
Edit: those are great odds
for this event i put down:
Melendez straight up
starks straight up
parlay of starks, thompson, and melendez
parlay for means and benavidez
i only put up about 30 bucks for this event but can will about 250... also gonna mess with props tomorrow when theyre released at least putting something on title fight going distance... also boxing wise im putting a little on canelo/trout going over 9.5 rounds

Betting odds do not equal a fighters chance to win a fight they equal out to the amount bookies expect people to bet on each fighter and they attempt to even them out.
Should've posted this in my MMA Gambling thread.
I haven't posted in it for the past one or two events because I didn't put anything down. Time is scarce, too.
I would like to discuss this weekends event though.
As for Brown/Mein, the odds for Brown are nice but I am expecting Mein to pull off the win here. I am not underestimating Brown but Mein is a young, hungry fighter on the rise.
I totally shit the bed with my previous post.
