1099 is for contracted pay is it not meaning the bonus pay would be done on a different form

Funny how you said Diaz only deserved a "little more change" than 15k when he's beaten (and looked great while doing it) more than one top 10 fighter and Roy has never beaten a top 10 fighter to my knowledge. But yet, 24k to show is just so low for Roy Nelson. They both won TUF but the difference is Diaz didn't have to fight the likes of Kimbo to win his season. He finished everyone on his way to winning the season including Maynard. Both guys have fought a considerably high level of competition overall after their first couple fights after winning the show...and of coarse, Diaz fought for the title. So it seems you may have been a bit biased here.

    Kimbo> Rampage
Jones and Sonnen are obviously making way more than that. several million for both of them.

Im sure bisping has a small ppv cut as well.

seems like a low price for Roy... but thats the deal he signed for. who knows what else he could be pulling in, in the back as well.

I love you to but you gotta admit DW hasn't always liked Roy And I don't think anyone thinks DW plays fair all the time.

The UFC wanted the UK market and Bisping was there poster child. With there protection they made him into a star. Lastly if DW likes you and you can draw the $$$$ they'll give the $$$$. Nobody has stepped up to take the Blokes place yet.

By no means did I say I liked him or agree'd he should make that much money

I know the announced earnings are very sketchy anyway and are supplemented by all sorts of back room dealings , but something besides Toney's rather large check that eventually went straight to the IRS stuck out to me about this post.
UFC on Fox 7 Fighter Salaries

Josh Thomson: $95,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus)
    def. Nate Diaz: $15,000
So basically that says that since UFC 118 Nate Diaz has fought 7 more times in the UFC including working his way to a lightweight title shot only to supposedly have his earning cut in half.

Something tells my the UFC fighter contracts and pay structure are much more screwy than any of us even know.

That being said I seriously doubt Bisping makes anything near what GSP, A Silva, and Jon Jones make per fight from the UFC.
