Weight cutting has been a past problem for him. So yes I could see stay at HW till JDS fight is over and maybe longer depending on who's next. Beating Mir and his past escalades he is revelent in the div so he'd be crazy to walk away to quick if a opening happened.

For Cromier to stay at HW he might have one of two lines of thinking on this. He either thinks that Cain wont retain the title vs both Bigfoot and JDS, which will allow Cromier to fight the then champ or..... it doesn't matter what happens in front of him. He is now willing to fight whoever for the title, including his partner Cain.

If Jones can still defend his belt twice a year I don't have a problem with him taking a HW fight a year. Than when the UFC would offer a HW title fight at least he would have a few HW fights under his belt.

I'd like to see jones at hw, I just don't see many real challenges for him at lhw...

I'm sure DW could talk them into meeting at a safe catch weight if he really wanted to rush this. In all honesty though Jones shouldn't get DC until he fights Machida first.

Thanks for clearing that up. Don't know why I didn't read it that way... Long day I guess. Either way it doesn't sound like he'll move down to me... They should just talk when it's happening, until them find this man a hw opponent... He needs a little redeeming(to me) after that Mir fight.

Fight in July or August really limits potential opponents of merit, unless Werdum moonwalks past Nog without a scratch.

Nelson works, but it appears his people don't want him breaking his win streak.

Travis Browne would be a wonky fight to see size-wise, ditto Overeem.

PS, when the fuck is Overeem due back?
