I think woodley takes this. I saw him a few months back at a grappling tourney. Man is he solid for a 170 pound man. I was surprised when he knocked heiron's block off. I think shields is in trouble b/c this fight takes place where Tyrone wants it to and I don't believe shields when he says he is a better striker. War MU! You better call Tyrone! You better pick up the phone (from a comedy routine but I can't remember which one)

I lol'd when Shields said he had better striking. Jake, you have NO STRIKING. Everyone's striking is better than yours. I hope Woodley knocks the entitlement outta this guy.

Fer sure, losin' yer dad sucks; nevermind losin' him twice.

    *nudge nudge*

But on a serious note, Shields loses to Woodley; either decisively, or boringly, at which point, Shields is cut.

I still want to know what exactly he got busted for. My best guess is that it wasn't a steroid nor some kind of diuretic. I think he took something like xanax, weed, or painkillers... due to depression caused by losing his father.

Interesting to see how Woodly does seeing he made a hell of a impression in his last fight

"I want to go out there and bring a lot of pressure and break him.”

Don't think he will be breaking him when he takes a nap on him...

Ever since he came back down to fight in the UFC at WW after he'd packed on all that muscle for his MW run, he's been a shell of himself, just emaciated and drained. Then his father passes away and he does the Ellenberger fight and gets smashed and now, roughly a year since he's last fought, he's going up against a power wrestler? Damn. I've got T-Wood in a total routing and a name under his belt as they build his ever improving name at WW.

Jake's 2-2-1 since joining the UFC with the snoozer against Akiyama and the gift decision against Kampmann to show for it due to pissing dirty on whatever against Herman at MW. Hopefully, the time off means he's been able to settle back down to 170 and feels good with the cut, but I don't see this being a good night for Jake....

Hoping for a Top 5 guy? Lol what gives him the idea he deserves a top 5 fight?
