I keep waiting for the wheels to fall off of Josh Thomson. He's nearly 36, has been contemplating retirement and his incredibly banged up through the years by going fullboar training with AKA, a camp that a lot of people accuse of running too hard and having guys peak too early or take too much damage going into fights and I really thought he was going to get touched up by the superior athlete in Johnson and Bobby Green, while not on the level of Johnson, I think has the pace and grappling to really push Thomson. I'll take him for the upset and while I've been impressed as fuck with Bermudez as of late, Guida can steal fights with his style and he could definitely take this one.
I like Clay in the underdog spot against Bermudez
So far i set up a Thomson/ Lawler parlay at -120.. im looking to get Anthony Johnson into a parlay but waiting on Bellators odds to release to see what Koreshkov and Cooper are at
Anyone playing this next card? It's an "extra risky" card, imo, with a lot of the fights being hard to lean towards one figher confidently. The only fighter on the card I feel good about is Thomson.
I don't think I'm going to make many plays for this one.
^I almost hit a 5 teamer in mlb that woulda paid out 560$ off a 10$ bet a couple weeks ago...had some underdogs and some run lines in there...of course it was the Cubs who lost and spoiled it. Unders at Busch Stadium have been pretty solid.
This card isn't too good for betting tho the only thing I might play is some sort of combo involving Gunnar/Conor. Have a pretty hard time seeing either guy lose today.
Thinking I'll just drop a unit on Picket to win and call it a day. I've been doing well with baseball lately, no need to lose money on fighters I don't even know.
Got a bunch of leftover parlays from Wednesday's card. If Pickett wins, I'll have a nice few payouts and I have a few if McGregor/Nelson/Parke cover, everything else is just a hodgepodge of picking most of the favourites with a variety of a couple underdogs spoiling the show. I'm thinking Seery/Harris and Troeng/Smith have a chance of being close and I'm not sold too hard on either Krylov and Sampo. Should be very interesting.
Who do you all have for tonight?
McCall vs Pickett is a tricky one. Seems like it should be a matchup for McCall to keep building momentum off his last win but it's in Ireland and it will very likely be a pretty competitive fight. You'd expect McCall's ground game to steal him a round or 2, though.
Yeah, I favor nearly all the favorites which never works ou. Except the early Brazil cards...mwuhaha.
