Big fan, really glad to hear he's making a comeback.

I think he's another guy who went vegan for a bit and lost some mass. He'd be a big LW for sure, but he's doing fine at WW.

This dude's usually always fun to watch. So I'm definitely excited for any fight he has coming up.

Following 'frustrating' year, Brian Ebersole ready to return to UFC, nixes LW plans

Are you ready for the return of the "Hairrow"?

Brian Ebersole has kept a low profile ever since his four-fight winning streak was snapped by James Head at UFC 149 last July, but he is finally ready to return to action.

"I have had a frustratingly quiet year," Ebersole recently told MMAFighting.com via e-mail, "as I've tried to overcome an injury. Been carrying it for a long time, fought with it multiple times and needed to truly rehab. Couldn't see going through another camp in such a state."
Ebersole (50-15-1, 1 NC) took the fight against Head on less than a month's notice after announcing he was going to drop down to 155 pounds following his fourth straight win against TJ Waldburger in June 2011, but the loss to Head in Calgary, Alberta, Canada halted all his momentum.

The 32-year-old veteran has recently spent his time in Phuket, Thailand, heading Tiger Muay Thai's MMA program and has now set his sights on a return to the UFC.

"I've put in a few good weeks recently, and I feel I've made a bit of progress. I don't hobble about, after a training session, quite so badly as before.

"That said, I've asked Joe Silva for a bout and hope to hear back soon."
Ebersole has put his lightweight plans on ice for the time being, as he said his inactivity will make the cut to 155 pounds too difficult.
