Dana was not that father but he most certainly was the nanny.

Lot of good points made here. They must be infringing a little on the UFC that DW is speaking of them. I do agree TV promotions don't make good fight promoters as they want to script to much.

Just a couple years ago, Dana made a point of telling the fans how he had no problems with Bellator and now he shit talks them any chance he gets.
    Same thing happened with Strikeforce.
Before they started signing big names, Dana said that he liked very much how SF was doing business and they were doing the right thing and all that stuff.
As soon as SF signed big names, his opinion immediately changed and eventually Zuffa buyed (and then killed) them.

Now he sees that bellator has great fighters and they do some very nice shows, so he obviously does not like that, I am sure that he would love the Ferttitas to buy them and continue the monopoly.

In dana's world, there is an enormous difference between how Viacom is tying up Alvarez with red tape and how he once tied up Couture. dana wants Eddy in the UFC, and since Viacom won't give him up, now they're the enemy. Simplistic? dualistic? myopic?

It doesn't matter to a great business man.

"The big problem I have is, they're just copying," White continued. "There's no, they don't have anything original over there
I do not see the UFC or any other org making tournaments like Bellator is doing.

But it is Dana who is babbling here, we can not expect anything other than haterade coming out of his mouth.
