This fight will either be a boring jab & jog or it will go like Maia's match against Fitch. As long as Demian wins I'll be happy!

Really though, I hope it is a pure grappling match and Maia dominates Shields. I would watch Maia blanket Shields for 15 minutes.
There's not going to be any grappling. It's going to be Shields terrible stand up trying to overcome Maia's mediocre boxing. If it does hit the mat, it'll look like Weidman/Maia. I just hope Maia gets the win so we can see him against a top 5 opponent with a title shot on the line.

I agree with this. It should still be a good fight to watch. Hopefully.

I am pretty sure that Maia feels no one at 170 can sub him. With that said, I bet he takes Jake down and controls/beats Jake for 15 min.

Maia dominates Jake but no finish. Everyone needs to remember that the Hendo bomb did not KO Jake so I don't see Maia doing it to him.

Shields hasn't looked good, even in victory, for a while. I think Maia can walk through him, but his active guard and Shield's "quicksand" style could play out badly in the judges hands.

defeated Tyron Woodley at UFC 161 in what can only be described as a fight that took place in the UFC this year.
