I think that Tony Johnson Jr., if Abe Wagner hadn't already, slammed the door shut on Sylvia EVER fighting for the UFC.

i hope vera comes out and truely impresses. Ive been vera fan, and never fallen off the wagon, although it is sometimes hard to defend the guy. I see laziness possibly being his main issue, although I dont know for sure. I really hope vera comes out looking crisp and ready.

At this point I really don't care whether the former futre multi-division champ fights. He has been refocues and rejuvenated way too many points in his career so far.

We'll see at the weighins but the rumors are the Vera is looking particularly huge. He may not be as naturally thin as folks are saying; not sure he ever embraced a rigid strength and conditioning program prior either.

I like Rothwell, but if he comes out striking a la TRex like he did against GG, Vera could easily win this.

For Vera's frame,he really shouldn't have to cut much weight to make 205, it's just another example of a fighter not staying in shape between fights. That's why GSP is so amazing, he is in fighting shape 24/7,365, and so should Vera, but he is pretty lazy, same with Jones actually.
