Looks like Chiappe got a fight on the WSoF card.

No significant promotions in BC. There are a couple miniscule regional ones.

To my knowledge, they've only been around since around 2009. They've had a some good names on their cards, Kendall was on one or two and they've had Ryan Ford, Ring, Jesse Taylor, Tim Hague, Starnes, Doerksen and many other solid fighters, if you take a look at their past cards and the potential names they may have at their disposal, there's a nice crop to work with. They developed a solid, if unspectacular brand.

There are a bevy of MMA promotions in Canada, particularly strong in the prairie provinces and Quebec...once upon a time I'd have posed that MFC probably had the most coverage with their talent and HDNet/AXS coverage, but Pavelich seems to carry a ton of heat and appears detrimental, and between their top guys like Lima and Jimmo getting called off to the big show, they've somewhat cooled off and AFC was getting more coverage on the AXS TV market as a result.

It sounds appealing but it is up in the air, a good buddy has a birthday bash planned up at Mount Washington.. So either snowboarding or mma.

I assume if that's what you focus on, you'll notice them. I generally get along fine with them though as I had been surrounded by those kind of people in my youth. Ghetto lyfe.

You have any interest in attending?

More gang members go to Canucks games than they do MMA events. Haha.

That's the weekend before finals for me, so I am not sure. I'm about 90% in.
