He sounds like he's suggesting Renan Barao should make a move for the FW title, suggesting Aldo may be moving up perminantly...??

I think Pettis beats Thomson, then he'll face either Grant or Melendez on the Memorial Day card.

Aldo faces Lamas on the Super Bowl card, then has a rematch with either Mendes, Swanson or Jung on the 4th of July card.

That sets up the super fight for next year around October/November or the New Year's card.

All of this is just a fantasy if an injury strikes. It's fantasy now, of course. But I'd like to see this happen.

Mendes deserves a rematch, and anything Aldo says about it means he is just trying to duck the fight. I think Money wins the rematch, the guy is a beast and finishing anything in front of him.

If a dominant champion wants to move up in weight while keeping his belt I have no problem with it so long as it is for one fight only.
If it's only going to be a one off fight, make it a catch weight fight. Aldo/Pettis at 150 lbs sounds like a great idea.

This fight would totally depend on which Aldo shows up. The won who beat Edgar, picks Pettis apart. The one who beat KZ, gets TKO'd by Pettis.

If he does get two belts, he needs to fight 3 times a year and jump between weightclasses. LW has a ton of contenders right now in Melendez, Grant, that russian guys name I have no chance of spelling and Bendo.

If he can pull it off without throwing either division into chaos, sure. But I don't see that happening. T

Once he fights and beats Lamas, that's it for him at FW except for rematches. And if he wants to hang out and beat the same guys again, that's cool. Go for it. But I'd rather see him drop the belt and move up to Lightweight.

if he was willing to fight 4 times a year ( 2 in each division) i wouldnt mind seeing this but i doubt he can stay healthy enough to do so
