This will be one of the ugly boring Kongo fights unless Graham can keep this standing. Kongo wants nothing to do with Graham's standup.

Peter Graham steps in to face Cheick Kongo at Bellator 107

    http://www.mmajunkie.com/news/2013/1...t-bellator-107

Kickboxer turned MMA fighter Peter Graham (10-5 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) is set to replace the injured Vinicius Queiroz (7-3 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) in a fight against Cheick Kongo (19-8-2 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) at Bellator 107.

Promotion officials today announced the new heavyweight fight, which will headline the event on Nov. 8 at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Okla. The main card airs on Spike TV following prelims on Spike.com.

As previously announced, ex-featherweight champ Joe Warren co-headlines the event opposite Travis Marx for the Season 9 bantamweight tournament final, and Mikkel Parlo meets Brennan Ward in the middleweight final.

Graham makes a quick turnaround after a successful Bellator debut earlier this month against Eric Prindle. After going 1-5 in his first six outings as an MMA fighter, he's won his past nine outings in the cage.

As a kickboxer, Graham amassed a record of 58-12-1 and holds notable wins over Badr Hari, Sam Greco and Mark Hunt.

Kongo originally was slated to fight Queiroz on the Spike TV-televised prelims of Bellator 106, but when the event lost its headliner and was downgraded from pay-per-view to an event broadcast on the cable network, the bout was moved to headline Bellator 107. Then Queiroz was forced to withdraw from the bout with a knee injury.

Ex-UFC heavyweight Kongo is ranked No. 15 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie.com MMA heavyweight rankings and advanced to the tourney final with a second-round TKO of Mark Godbeer at Bellator 102.

The complete Bellator 107 card includes:

MAIN CARD (Spike TV, 9 p.m. ET)
    • Cheick Kongo vs. Peter Graham - Season 9 heavyweight tournament final
    • Travis Marx vs. Joe Warren - Season 9 bantamweight tournament final
    • Mikkel Parlo vs. Brennan Ward - Season 9 middleweight tournament final
    • Edson Berto vs. Patricky Freire

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike.com, 7 p.m. ET)
    • Derek Campos vs. Martin Stapleton
    • Jonas Billstein vs. Cortez Coleman
    • Matt Jones vs. Linton Vassell
    • Ryan McCurdy vs. Mike Mucitelli
    • Raphael Butler vs. Josh Burns
    • Chris Jones vs. Robert White
