Nope I'm suggesting no such thing and of course they do what reality show doesn't... I'm merely saying it's pretty big stretch to think the motivation behind Brookins looking like a good guy on TUF was to make Rebney look bad.

Fighters do interviews and media outside of TUF/UFC control so you do get to see them in unedited environments where you get a truer sense of the type of person they are. So lets not infer that I'm using TUF as the only basis I'm judging someone on especially when I actually only watch the training segments and fights.

Given how he handled the Alvarez situation, I thought it was worse than UFC/Randy Couture year long court battle, but there was more story to that one.

I can't say I like how Rebney is treating Ben Askren right now. Ben is one of Bellator's top talent, and all I see Rebney doing is playing chess games with UFC, using Ben's career as the pawn. I mean either sign the guy if you truly believe he is one of the best WW, or offer him a full release with no matching clause, so that he may go ahead and negotiate with the UFC.

It's not like I'm making this stuff up. Many fighters have come forward and talked about the "creative editing" on TUF geared to make some look good and others look bad.

As if it's still up for discussion, the fact is that Brookins was under a contract, signed by him, for sole promotion under Bellator. During that time, he was offered fights, and declined while competing and being PROMOTED on TUF. This isn't hard.

Moreover, didn't Bellator simply allow Lombard to walk when they could have tangled him up? Haven't they consistently let guys compete on local/regional cards when they didn't have a spot for them so they could make some extra cash? It's only when they go under a national banner like WSOF or UFC that the fangs have come out.

I still haven't seen the evidence that he was this huge scumbag others have attested to and I'm honestly open-minded about it.
Not arguing that the show isnt edit. It really much is. It's a common fact, backed up by many fighters.
But My comment was to show that while the show is edited to make certain fighters look good or bad, some fighters are portrayed exactly as who they are, as evidenced by someone like Browning, who was a nutcase even after the show. By your comments, it sounded like Brookins was not a 'nice guy' but was portrayed by that way due to the editing of the show.

In any sport, all the contract talks get ugly, and in the end fighters are looking out for their well being. IF Brookins did in fact go against his Bellator contract because it was not working out for him or whatever the case, you can't hold that against him and say his personality was flawed.

I think didn't like their handling of the Tyson Nam situation and for me, when I hear about them offering and then pulling him from tourneys, the entire visa BS he went through, then they release him after not doing anything with him….. but immediately wanted him back after he dusted Dantas(despite the whole "win the tourney to get a shot" gimmick"), they come off as rinkydink and petty.

Not that UFC isn't, but at the minor league level of a lot of BFC's undercard talent are at, filled with young, hungry fighters making little money and looking for a shot, I think there's a two-facedness to BFC that I'm not a fan of, especially for the stage of the guys they've got on their roster and just don't use…..

Yeah he is probably mad. He was hoping that Chandler was going to be his long time champ, which is why they signed him to the big 8 fight deal and I heard he's one of the highest paid LW's in the sport. We all know Eddie wants to go to the UFC.

Personally I scored it for Chandler, tough way to lose your title and undefeated record.
