Mirs's not as much of a Gate keeper than a name maker. Beat Franks and your a contender in the hype machine.

So what was the decision already?

I'm just glad "we" will decide. It would be a hell of a thing if Mir had to make a decision like that without the help of a loud mouthed douchebag.

There's no shame in losing to the guys Frank has lost to, even if they're not anywhere close to being top 5.

But he's not the threat he once was, he's a gatekeeper.

There is no shame in losing to top 5 heavyweights but still its time for Frank to consider his long term health I'd like him to remain the articulate martial artist that he is, metamoris or bust.

It all refers to them horseplaying and a "mock" fight.
That's kinda what I thought, just wasn't sure if one of them actually came out and confirmed it was just them clowning around.

You are certainly welcome to your opinion, but I haven't had Barnett higher than 7 for a long time, nor have any rankings that I respect. The win over Mir made his 7 a more solid ranking--it had been years since he'd beaten a ranked opponent--but it wasn't anything that would fire him up the lists.

I'm not saying Mir sucks. I'm saying he's firmly a gatekeeper, and he's not top 10, and he's losing to guys on the fringe of top 10, in AO.

I don't think it's a matter of him getting cut. I think it's a matter of him retiring, moving to a commentary spot. Maybe create a web show that he hosts on Fight Pass or something.
