You have to factor in the fact that they are getting an opportunity that most people only dream about. I would also figure that some of the guys that make 8k to show, if not most to all of them probably have full or at least part time jobs and are chasing said dream and are just getting to the point that they would be considering quitting their jobs and going full time.

Sorry about the double post. I'm too stupid to do multiple quotes from my phone.

And it is such horseshit that Bisping gets paid so much. Over 3x more than the guy who beats him.

I wish it worked to where whoever won their fight won the most money no matter who it is.
That wouldn't make sense from a business standpoint. The pay scale for this event seems about right to me.

It depends on how you score fights. Bisping was certainly busier, but rewatching it, I felt Kennedy was landing more effectively--as in a higher percentage of shots. Bisping seemed to whif on more strikes than Tim actually threw. So if you give points for being busy, wouldn't you have to give points for attempted takedowns? I dunno...that's the only way I could think he'd score it.

Note: I gave the round to Bisping, but its not as egregious of an error as some of the crap I've seen.
