Mos def, they don't want that fight yet, same thing with the Rampage vs Lyoto. They want them both to stack some wins and get more publicity to their organization before they have that fight. or Bas vs Rampage, they are good friends but they would probably still fight eachother for the money.

UFC would've been great for him but I don't see anyone touching Sherk at 155, I think he will hold that belt for years and years.

I'm sure the WFA will add more fighters. They've only had 1 event. Their next event is supposed to be in October so I am pretty sure they'll find a capable opponent by then. As of right now the only guy on their roster I could think of for Faber to fight would be "Razor" Rob, but that fight would have to be at 155.

Who is he gonna fight in the WFA? Noone else there is at 145, and I don't remember seeing any 155 pounders on the roster either. I guess it'll be Uriah vs. Uriah in a schizophrenic fight club scene in a cage.

Good deal for the WFA. I was hoping he would sign with the UFC or Pride, but I guess the WFA is better than nothing.

maybe this is old news, but this little paragraph was tacked on to sherdog's article about faber dropping out of the next kotc event

The 27-year-old from Sacramento, who just signed a multiple fight deal with the World Fighting Alliance
