how can you say he wont have a shot to do anything...he would smash alot of the top hw in pride.... i think he would do great...aa is an all around solid fighter and i think he would have a great chance against guys like kharitonov, alex e. , hunt, werdum ect... and i think after a few wins over there hed be ready for a guy like cro cop or nog..he would do great in pride i think...

mir vs. vera should be a sick match, however frank has been sloopy lately and overweight, the question is if we r going to see the frank mir who defeated tim sylvia or the overweight slacker. cant wait for the fight, both top hw's.

Somewhere down the line, Arlovski will get the Vera/Mir winner, probably in December of January. First off, though, he's going to need to beat someone in the meanwhile, perhaps at UFC 63 or 64. Should he win, an Arlovski fight against either Vera or Mir is good for the fans, and for everyone. Chances are that it will be a title eliminator, and people have been wanting to see Arlovski/Mir for a long time. They probably would have fought at UFC 51, 53, or 55 had Mir not been messed up still from that bike crash. Not only that, but this fight would probably only happen if Mir beats Vera, indicating that he's back, because he won't beat Vera if he puts on another performance like he did against Dan Christison. On the other hand, Arlovski/Vera is a very intriguing, evenly matched fight. Both of them are explosive, athletic heavyweights with heavy strikes and strong ground games. That would have a chance of being a Fight of the Year candidate in my opinion.

i hate tim sylvia and i was so upset to see him lose, best of luck to him where ever he goes. he weighs 235 and would need to get down to atleast 225 to make lhw. i dont know how much more fat there is to be cut off of him but iv seen guys a lot more cut them him with very little body fat, so it is possible, he would give anybody in the lhw devision a run for their money, possible be the best.

I agree. However from a technical stand point I still consider AA a better fighter.

So dropping the weight is very possible. What AA would do is about a week before the fight is start cutting back his food and water. Then just simply cut the rest the day before in the sauna. AA can and will drop to LHW. If Franklin can make 185 then AA can make 205.
i still think cuttin to 205, is more trouble than its worth for arlovski. despite back to back losses to sylvia, he's the best HW they got. its definitely possible for him to fight at 205. hell, joe riggs used to fight at around 260, now he's at mw/ww.

If Kongo wins at 62 maybe he fights AA. probaly to soon though for Kongo.

It would be real hard but he can cut weight, Kenflo cut like 30 LBs and he looks no different at 185 then he does a 155, said it took him 8 months too

AA isn't going anywhere. he will stay in the UFC cuz like everyone has been saying, he's a draw. if Kongo beats whoever he's fighting at 62, he and AA should fight in October. i think that would be a great fight!

    Oh yeah and WAR Monson!!!
