The guy is an animal pure and simple. If he can keep his ego in check and see this thru there is no doubt in my mind that he could be great... depending on his chin.

he doesn't have to learn submissions right away. All he needs right now is submission defense, that along with his wrestling should get him by for now. With time he'll learn submissions and he'l be a beast. He can switch camps and add a little bit of stand up to his game.

I think he is trying to touch on a few aspects of MMA. Likely he trained wrestling takedowns and working from the top position and learning how to gain side position and the mount and work from thsoe positions as well as some submissions.

Now he wants to train wiht Royce and get some BJJ work in.

Then hopefully he goes to Chute Box and trains some Muay Thai with Wandy and Shogun.

Then finds 1 camp to stay at and progress from there. Kind of a strange approach but he probably wants to see if Royce has some different BJJ methods than he was learning in Militich or something. Seems odd but I have great hope for the 285 lb amateur wrestler, I think he can go very far in the sport.

I saw some of his training vids on youtube and that fugger is very very strong, flexible, and really quick. Given the proper training (I truly hope he does not remain at the Gracie camp, Militich seens like it would be the best camp for him as it is the best camp in the US IMO) I think he will be a huge threat in the HW division of any organization including PRIDE.

He was much too athletic to have been on any kind of steroids that I can tell. He's more athletic probably than Randleman, and probably bigger too. Yeah, he's an animal, and based on his becoming a very good pro wrestler in such a short time, I think he'll do just fine in MMA. He'd be like Bob Sapp, except smaller and more talented.

He was pretty much the same size now as he was in college. They called him brock the rock because he was a monster there too. And they do test in college.

agreed, there is a diff between landing on your map and taking a combo to the jaw,imo he will be a freakshow, and probably hit the wfa before the ufc.

I know about his wrestling days I am big wrestling fan,can tell you anything about wwe.

That's not what I mean can he take a shot on the chin repeatedly can he take a puch flush on the chin.

But I think he is better suited in a cage than a ring.
He could be the matt hughes of the HW Division in a cage.

Put matt hughes in a ring different story..I see trouble with brock's career in a ring.

Like someone said earlier watch his match against Angle at Wrestlemania.he does a shooting star press(Gaynor)and lands squarely on his forehead and continues the match.
