Yeah but Renzo has remained active. Not Jeremy Horn or Shonie Carter active, but Miletich hasn't fought period since what the Lindland fight? It's been a long while. Still I got Miletich too, I just don't think age will have anything to do with it.

I didn't even think of that. I hope because they have a big time main event finally they don't try and sell it on PPV. Stick to TV, and your big main event will draw the whole hardcore fan base in if nothing else, something even the regular shows haven't done. 2 years ago the "purist" type fan base would cream their pants at the opportunity to see any kind of MMA on TV for free, in such a short amount of time they've gotten picky. I remember the days when a UFC infomerical was a huge deal. They'll still watch a reality show though, go figure. Kind of defeats the purpose of claiming to be a purist-type fan if you'll watch a reality show but won't watch an MMA event.

ahh found it, hes 38 so Renzo is in fact older, so my pick stands... Pat Miletich wins this one.

I think he has got to be in his 40's. Not exactly sure though.

    how old is pat militech?

I have been following both forums for a while now (this one since its inception) I have found that pretty much all of Matt's "rumors" have been right on. I for one am totally geeked for the militech v gracie fight. I think the IFL has a good thing going and hope they stick to FSN and stay away from the PPV's. I think that is the only way they can build a fan base to compete with the UFC. By the way i think i gotta go with Renzo on this one. Third round triangle choke!

IFL just confirmed it. Check out the press conference video here:

That's the Miletich/Renzo fight and Bas/Kimo I've confirmed before anyone else this week alone! MAYBE now some people will start paying attention to my "rumors" instead of dismissing them right out the gate. I'm not talking about the members here, more likely the "Guests" who seem to be a lot of Sherdog forum guys, as I've found out recently.

I'm pretty sure the Inoki/Kerr/Newton teams will be announced tomorrow. Cruz is right about the air date for tomorrow's tapings, it's only a 24 hour delay which is actually really awesome. I'm going to avoid spoilers and see what an IFL show is like "live".

"but i just think there's more deserving organizations of that tv deal than them"

You're right, there are. But they don't have the money and/or connections to get a TV deal without proving themselves the way the IFL did. I really REALLY hope WFA and Strikeforce get a TV deal. At the very least, I hope Strikeforce gets a PPV deal. I know their first show aired on FSN or is going to air on FSN, and WFA has the PPV thing going. I just hope WFA gets a TV deal to go with the PPV - even if it's FSN or some kinda shitty TV station. Strikeforce I just want them to be on PPV, if they're gonna do TV delays hopefully they don't delay them as long as they did the first one.
