he'll be able to submit horn this time around. people dont realize that Lister has just recently become so dominant in ADCCs. and like mentioned before he seems like he'll be focusing more in MMA now. his 2 losses were to Suloev and Arona, 2 guys i'd bet on over Horn easy

If the rematch ever happens I see it being a stalemate on the ground. Horn taking the stand-up and winning the match by decision. Lister doesn't ever win decisions because he doesn't mount enough offense to win other than by submission. If he can't submit Horn, he can't win IMO. I just don't really see him submitting Horn.

Lister has been training striking for a long time now. It's not coming along, at least based on what he shows in MMA. Horn is a complete striker. Unless we're talking about a Horn-Lister II fight in 2010, Horn is going to be able to win the stand up.

i'd agree that horn has better standup ,but his wrestling skills suck.if lister wants this fight to go to the ground i'm sure he could get it their.

the thing is lister is going to be improving on his feet pretty fast if he trains heavly on them since he really has the ground stuff locked up. this means he will be able to close the gap with horn on the feet and with the advantage on the ground he should win.

it will be a tough fight for either of them to dominate as they both know the ground game. i just see lister being able to control the fight this time. before his entrance in the ufc i really dont think lister took his mma training to seriously him fighting in mma wasnt really full time. now i think hes going to really focus on his standup and if he improves that hes going to be a big threat.

I wouldn't really call 2003 the early years, which was when Horn and Lister fought. Lister is only 2-2 since that fight and hasn't really improved his striking since then. I doubt Horn will be caught in a submission as easily as Sakara. Anything can happen, but I just don't see Lister winning.

Remember what happen to the last guy Horn beat in the early years. Horn was toyed with by liddel. I expect the same result with a Lister fight.

    Lister Would Win

If lister can tap out Sakara in the first round i doubt he would have much trouble with Horn. Lister has superior ground skills and superior strength.
