I see what your saying, i just don't see anybody giving them a difficult time other than Stevenson right now, and I still think Penn will beat him. Oh and Din, I think he's up there.

The other guys, Edgar, Huerta, Griffen, Florian are still a ways back but they are improving.

To me Danzig has peaked, I could be wrong but I haven't seen much to make me think he hasn't hit the ceiling. i think this show was a mistake for him because he didn't even get to fight the best fighters on the show so he didn't get challenged. He needed to fight Saunders, Aroyo and George.

There is Penn and Sherk, then there is a huge drop off. Wouldn't that be middle of the pack?

You need a degree of "drama" and guys acting like a bunch of assholes to add something to the show.
The show doesn't have to be an hour. It could have 12 minutes of gym/prep time and 12 minutes of fighting and be perfect. Even if the fights continue to be pedestrian, you aren't waiting for them like a big climax at the end.

If they need an hour, run two 16 fighter houses simultaneously, and focus on one per half hour...then make them fight against each other in the semi's.

Tommy is about the same size and strength as Hughes, so he wouldnt be Mini Huges. He'd be The Second Coming of Hughes, which fits in better with Hughes's super Christian stuff.

I thought this season was intertaining but pointless. They should have just called it "The Mac Danzig Show". Only about 3 or 4 guys on the show could even hang with him. My predictions are this:

Ritchie Hightower will go fight in WEC at 145 or 155.

Mac will drop to 155 in the UFC and fade into the middle of the pack.

Tommy Spears will become a part of Hughes team and be forever known as Mini-Hughes.

Ben Saunders will have the most success of anyone on the show, followed by Matt Aroyo.

Dan Barrera will go home to find out his wife was cheating on him and not being attacked by the Devil.

Troy and Dorian will realize all too late that they need to find a ground game.

Blake will never fight in the UFC again. Or shouldn't at least.

J-Roc intrigues me because he has all the tools to be great but he froze in the octagon. It will be interesting to see if he can overcome his nerves, same with Koloski.

Joe Scarola will try to get a modeling job with Ambercrombie & Fitch, when they turn him down he will commit suicide after his girl leaves him because he has no spine.

He disgraces the name Hightower. Bubba Smith would be ashamed.
