if swick lost again to leban than leban does deserve a shot..if everyone thinks that swick deserves a shot (which i do by the way) than if he loses to leban that bumps leban up..plain and simple..id like to see swick fight anybody..he usually puts on a show..i thought he was a little too defensive this fight tho..

    gracie jui-jitsu guy

    Swick

If Swick wants his next fight to be for the title then we already know who his next victim will be: himself. There's no way that a guy who gasses in the third round will be able to last five against Rich Franklin. He talked about being conditioned for a five round fight against the Crow but he sure didn't show it. Had that fight gone five rounds, the Crow would have won. I think its a given that the Crow lost some confidence after that Franklin fight. He was finally starting to get some of that confidence back against Swick in the third but didn't have any rounds left to finish him off and get the W.

    No Leben

Swick/Leben II would be a good fight, and if Swick wins he deserves a title shot. But if Leben would win I don't think he deserves a shot. He got worked by Silva and needs atleast 2-3 solid outings before a title shot.

    "Swick/Leben II"

I dunno ... it's taking a long time for Swick to move up.
*IF* they could schedule this fight fast, then have the winner fight Evan Tanner then I would approve.

    LOL

They need to keep moving up Swick until he can't handle it anymore.
Evan may/may-not be the man to do that.

loiseau i think was just waiting for Swick to gas so he could unload without fear of getting caught

and he did, but it took too long for Loiseau to win the fight.

and i dont think Tanner will be in the game. he wont sign for the fight. he has enough problems of his own, he's a borderline alcoholic from what all reports indicate, and has enough personal problems to deal with, let alone a fight with a possible contender like swick

Loiseau had a good gameplan for a 5 round fight. Unfortunately for him, the fight was a 3 rounder. Also, Swick DEFINITELY needs to have better conditioning if he is expecting to fight for the title. Either that or he better go all out at the first 2 rounds and go for the knockout. If he tries to play it safe and runs out of energy against Franklin, bad things will happen. But, Swick does deserve respect for winning this fight. There were many on here who didn't think he would come close.

I have to agree with UFCfanatic. Loiseau came out like I thought he would in the first round but I thought he would step it up in the 2nd and 3rd. Swick showed that he may need to work on his conditioning to get it on with a beast like Rich Franklin. Swick vs Leben would be a good fight but I see Leben getting knocked out because he likes to rush in. Terrell or Nate M. might be a better choice. Loiseau vs Swick II would have more fireworks.
