I think Angle has a great chance to be competetive in mma if he trains with mfs or team quest or another elite team but he better be doing it now before he is too far behind that he cant catch upto the more experienced fighters, but we know pro wrestlers can be successful severn/barnett/shamrock/fujita/miller even Daniel Puder has had some success and has a contoversial past with Angle and that fight would sell ppvs and tickets for any company. Plus obviously if your a gold medal winner in wrestling you arent a chump I would pay to see him fight

I really would like to see Kurt in a MMA match. If he won that would be great, but I really just would be interested in how he would do. His wrestling is great, but how quick can he learn stand up and some submission skills. He's only got a few years left to become good. I hope it's enough time.
He wouldn't be able to fight any top fighters in MMA right off the start, but maybe a MMA vet on his way out.

Thanks for the defense guys, I don't know why people on these threads need to sour everything. It doesn't make anyone happy when you come on to a thread and say “I don't care.”. Why do you do this, why must you start trouble. I understand that everyone doesn't have interest in the Kurt Angle MMA status. I'm sure it's possible to just not read the thread that doesn't interest you. I don't go on every thread I don't have interest in and bitch and moan because the thread is there. If I'm not interested I just read another thread. I can't understand some of the people on here. They can't stop insulting people, bitching, and showing pure immaturity in their posts. I can't understand why if they don't care about Kurt Angle, why they need to let everyone know. If you don't care, keep it to yourself. There are people that do want to hear news on his MMA status. There are people that read these threads, because they are interested in the topic. There are even people that might have something intelligent and interesting to add to the discussion. I know that it's hard to tell sometimes, but there are decent, mature people that read and post on these boards.

Bottom line is please stop adding comments that are not productive to this or any post on this MMA Board. It wastes time for everyone and makes the whole experience crappy when you are fighting between posts.

Kurt's body is really broken down now...I can see him training and fighting in MMA without getting further serious injuries.

i agree that he was at one time great but the guy's been beaten half to death being on the road 300 days a year and i really think his injuries would prevent him from being competitive with the top fighters.
