it was really disrespectful and fucked up of the fighters to do that to Nog.
but i was more surprised with Mir blowing him off, as an accomplished fighter as he is he should had said something to his team.
and dana saying good luck to him was even more fucked up.

Exactly, if they spent more time on real fighting issues, maybe educating
the public some, instead of dumbed-down, cheap thrills shock/entertainment value, I'd have a lot more respect for everyone involved and imo it'd be a much better show , much more useful. But
they obviously think what they're doing now is getting the bigger audience .
I don't think they're doing the sport much of a service, except for bringing attention to fighters. That can largely becancelled out by the show
making me think a lot of them are dipshits, which probably isn't even true.
    So, wtf, u-f-c ?

This is their little day in the sun, 15 minutes of fame, call it what you will: a bit part on a junk reality show where they are shown to be both mediocre as fighters and less than mediocre as human beings. They'll fade into justified obscurity and Nog is an MMA Hall of Fame fighter.

this pretty much sums it up

Can't wait to see Nog destroy Mir, which won't be hard at all for him I'm sure...

Yeah, that was kinda hard to watch . Nog's a big boy but still...
and right, it falls on Dana ultimately, because he can set the tone for that show and present the people on it however he wants to. I know damn well he could run that like a freakin military boot camp, or at least a serious training camp for up and coming fighters, but I guess that doesn't sell advertising spots as well as allowing and encouraging them to act like drunks and dickheads. To do that at the expense of a guy like Nog is pretty chickenshit if you ask me. If that wasn't part of the show's plot and Nog's in on the whole thing too, which wouldn't surprise me , considering how staged and contrived I believe a lot of what goes on there is anyway .
But they made it seem like Nog was sincere and got shit on , so if if it's fake it's a shitty storyline and sucks all the more for it !! heh heh ...
But Nog doesn't seem like the kind of dude to be in on fake bs like that , so I'm taking that part as real, and the dickheads as dickheads until proven otherwise .
