He did what he had to do to win... which was use his weight to lay on kimbo...

That said, his punches were nothing on the ground. Herb didn't stop it because there wasn't much to stop. If he would have at least ACTED like he was punching hard, just fake it a little, Herb would have stopped it in the first. Herb is a good ref 9 out of 10 times.

It was cool how he and Kimbo talked afterwards.

I don't think either of them are ever going to see gold in the ufc.

I would like to see both of them in the ufc if nothing more than filler in the HW division.

what i was impressed the most out of the whole Kimbo and Nelson fight was after the fight they could actually still be roomed together. Let alone Kimbo wanted to know how to get out of the crucifix and Nelson showed him, i think that shows what this sport is about and how Kimbo kind of in a way evolved into mma fighter instead of a street fighter. Also the fact Roy could rematch him and he could use his advice against him.. but knowing Nelson and his jitsu he will have a counter for it. The fight to me was obviously boring but i really like the sportsmanship after, props for both.

Take it to PM's or something folks - I have to deal with enough politics and bullshit at work, when I get home I just want to relax and enjoy reading and debating about MMA.

I was banned for a week for TUF stuff in the General section which I took (not much else to do! lol). And I come back and there are posts like this that ARENT MOVED when mine are and I get warned. I count at least 3 in the general forum that belong in the TUF section alone. All I'm asking is if you are gonna do your job, then do it with EVERYONE.
I banned you, as you were warned multiple times about posting in the wrong place.

I moved this interview as well, as the bulk of it is about TUF, and it belongs in TUF.

As far as "doing your job for EVERYONE," I don't think you were singled out, and you may have a less-than-accurate impression of how much time the mods actually spend on the board. Regarding your ban, if it had been someone who contributed less who ignored warnings, I would have banned them earlier.

Just like when Roy fights a true 250 with skills he will get beat every time. Roy needs to lose 20 lbs. and Kimbo needs to move down to 205 and fight.
Interesting point - That could be said about a lot of fighters in the heavy weight division.
