Tyson has name recognition with the casuals. It would be better to introduce Aldo and the FW belt to the fans with a more established name than with a guy none of them has ever heard of.

I know Tyson has a fight lined up, that's why I said they "SHOULD" not, they will.

look at the pool there in bro. not very much comp there imo. i see some smaller lw droping down to fw. i can already see edgar doing it, maybe caol uno and dennis siver.

edit: if paul kelly can drop that would be exciting.

this is really exciting as a fan. if aldo makes a big splash in his UFC debut, (where infinitely more people will see him), there will be no shortage of matchups coming toward him. fischer was saying he wanted to drop to FW last year, so i think he'll do it immediately. and then proceed to die. but jolly good show!

This is awesome, it will give exposure to some great fighters. The Jose match pretty much makes the card itself.

I think Sam Stout or Spencer Fisher could make 145 .
I would love to see Fisher get a strap before he quits fighting .
To bad he would have to fight Aldo for it

    anyways cards looking good.
    main card
    maynard/edgar
    aldo/tbd
    guida/gomi
    vera/t.silva
leben/stann (if the dui doesnt scratch this match)

if the leben/stann fight doesnt happen i would bump up the n.diaz/dong kim fight to the main card

yea i would say grispi. with the win over hominick and the fact hes on a 10 fight win streak (only 3 in the wec), id say hes most worthy at this point in time. btw grispi is 14-1. he has a loss to henrique bilcalho. but still 10 fight win streak is impressive and that lone loss was back in 2006 so when/if this fight happens he wouldnt have lossed in 4years

or maybe chad mendes being 8-0 and 3 in the wec
damn thought grispi was undefeated for sum reason. good lookin.

love it. just hope we get to see a lot of fights from these guys. it'll suck if they merge & there aren't a lot of shows to display some of these guys
