Ha, shows how much I fucking know, right? Is it possible to neg yourself on this board?

Well done to Rampage, Lance Gibson and his whole coaching staff.

Both Rashad and Thiago gave up, thats why they got KO'd. They were frusterated and realized pretty early on that they had no chance to win.

Rampage is a mixed bag and talking about him and strategy is full of asterisks. With his fight against Forrest that is the fattest Rampage I have ever seen in my life. Against Rashad he obviously did not train properly or have any kind of game plan other than punching which still almost won him the fight. I hate Rashad but I give him huge props on how he fought Page, never seen those kind of feints used the way he used em and it won him the fight.

Page is fighting someone where leg kicks dont matter, I would give Page a pretty good shot at winning (more than 95% of the posters here would not) but his heart for fighting and his lack of cardio makes me say Machida by landslide decision.

PS: I wouldn't be making fun of how I post considering you thought Machida vs Thiago was 3 rounds where Thiago was competitive. Don't take me correcting your dumb mistakes as an attack towards you.

Rampage should get inside where he is the more powerful fighter and take Machida to the ground. It won't happen because Page is an idiot but the next best thing he can do is counter punch since that is the type of fighter he has always been, and quite successful at that. Unless you advocate a fighter going against everything he has done for the past 5 years I say Page should counter punch this fight, then find a new camp.

Machida's 'boring' fights where the ones where he was not the agressor, the ones where his opponents were actually in the fight. But you're right obviously Rampage who is slower than Rashad should try to sit back and counter the much much faster fighter. Good call.

The conditioning comment isn't inspiring much confidence in Rampage for me.

I agree. If Rampage wants to win he needs to mix in a few takedowns. The dude is a beast and can probably take anyone down if he wants to. Pluss we havent seen Machida on his back with a ground and pound fighter on top. I dont think Rampage should throw any kicks. If he throws a slow lazy kick he is going to get put on his ass by a sweep or counter punch.

Machida wins this fight in IMO.
