Penn vs Hughes- I hated seeing such a trilogy fight end like that, i had BJ winning but i was hoping for a war. Either way both fighters were classy and and their fights will always be remembered. Props to Penn maybe 170 will be a good fit for him. Hughes who really knows what he's going to do besides go hunting, either way he is a legend and one of the greatest.

Machida vs Rampage- I'm sorry i had Rampage winning. The risk of Machidas style is he is retreating and judges look at agression and who's moving forward and if he doesn't significanlty out point his opponents i see them giving the round to his opponnents. Either way it was a hell of a fight and would have loved 5 rounds.

I don't think they'd want to feed Silva a hearty meal of Franklin again...

There's no way to gain speed. After you do certain workouts to be able to through faster with gloves on, you're either fast, or slow.

Rampage has never had fast hands but it's easy to look fast when you're fighters slow fighters like Liddell for instance.

For those of you who haven't seen the post fight presser Dana has said NO WAY will there be a rematch as he felt Page won.

Maybe give Machida Mr Wonderful or something

I actually got to go to the event last night. My friend knew somebody at work who sold him $140 tickets for $60! It was a blast and after the event I actually got to get a high five from Bader and Forrest which was awesome.

It was great to see BJ get a win. The booing, lack of action, and being there live actually kinda made the Falcao fight entertaining to me (I know it sounds weird lol).

The Machida/Rampage fight was really close for the first two rounds and Machida definitely had the 3rd. Personally I had it scored that Rampage got the first two rounds thus winning the fight, but like others have pointed out if it was Pride's rules it would have definitely been Machida's victory. I think the decision could have gone either way based off the 10 point system.

I love how you just know these things. What else did he say backstage???

To clarify I did not call him an idiot because of his opinion (if your referring to me), I said that because he simply cannot comprehend posts or chooses to ignore them and argue about things (In my case) that I have all ready retracted after watching the fight again. I was very reasonable up until that point, trust me.

Rampage looked shocked when they announced his name. He knows he didn't win that fight and was very diplomatic about saying it.

Machida had the edge in the first round. And definitely won the 3rd.

Rampage didn't throw a single strike until almost 2 minutes into the fight. Machida was controlling the distance and landing shots. Rampage earned points on the cage, but I don't see how it was enough.

Second round went to Rampage for sure based on the take down and he started finding his range.

Either way, it was a good fight and I'd love to see the rematch. I think Rampage needs to start gaining some speed again. I feel like he is slowing down (maybe because he just fought Rashad and Machida, but he looked slow against Jardine too).
