Honestly, I have no idea. Boone or Howie, I bet.

But Fedor should still be dropped in both HW and p4p for being subbed by someone of Werdum's calibre, right? That makes tremendous sense...getting completely pwned by a guy with exactly one previous fight against a top 10 opponent--and a fading one at that--shouldn't affect lesnar's ranking much...but getting subbed by the guy who has repeatedly proven that he has the best HW BJJ on the planet somehow should effect Fedor.

    Yeah, that makes sense.

Well, it does if you're an unqualified idiot.

They were made by putting a list of names on the walls of a room and letting monkeys fling poo. Who ever got the most "hits" wins.

Andrei Semenov, Jeremy Horn, Sean Salmon, Trevor Prangley, Yuki Sasaki, Logan Clark, Siyar Bahadurzada, Kazuhiro Nakamura, and the 4 against Misaki and Khalidov. Those are Santiago's wins since being KOed back-to-back by Leben and Alan Belcher. How is that the resume of a top 10 MW?

Only poo-flinging could result with Lesnar still ranked as the #2 HW in the world.

Hector could be top 5, but until he fights someone in the top 15-20, he isn't going to move up. 2006 against Gono and Mousassi...that's it.....Noke, Hess and Shlemenko since, but they are nowhere up there.

Pretty much. They are just random picks either made by one person and his opinions or voted on between a group of people, either way, it is all subjective.

An even better question would be why Santiago is ranked anywhere near the top 10. And what about Mousasi being ranked but King Mo and Feijao not.
