Why do you think BJ was crying so bad when he though GSP greased. Or Rousimar Palhares when he was crying wolf about Nate Marquardt greasing his ankle as he got TKO'd.

Rub your buddy up in some vaseline and try to pin him down... no no not like you guys were doing the other night, this time focus on trying to hold him down or sub him.
well I dont see the point of chest greasing. shoulders are an arms yes theres a point but realistically you dont want to be leaving your hands on bjj artists chest or your going to get armbarred or triangled and the grease wouldn't help or hinder if it was on the chest. if you grease your shoulders and arms you can slip out of triangles and arm bars a lot easier. Also greased arms would help substantially in slipping your arms under a chin for a rnc.

Getting kicked square in the junk by a professional fighter could actually kill you if you weren't wearing any protection.

SIDENOTE: Figueroa's camp was dumping water on him between rounds and they got a warning from the ref to completely dry him off or he'd lose.

Just something I caught from the other night.

before every UFC event at fighters meeting, the refs go over all the rules including the application of Vaseline to face and what it is limited too.

Refs wont allow you in the cage if you have too much caked on or vaseline below mustache or above eyebrows.

Also no ref will allow you in cage if someone other than the ref touches the fighter during inspection. Meaning, no going back and hugging your team after you have been inspected.

Just because its not listed, doesn't mean its 'not legal.' Its probably not updated.

Ps. Can a mod please change the title to NJSAC instead of NSAC? Thankyou
Every single fighter uses them... just because you wear a cup doesn't mean you can not feel getting kicked in the nuts. It just is an extra layer of protection. A good analogy is like wearing head gear... its an extra layer protecting your head but you can still feel getting punched.

    Have you ever grappled before?

That is so not true. But I honestly don't have time to debate that, so i'll just let you have that one, lol. Still, that is so not true.

Good find, btw. Fighters can grease up all they want in New Jersey, I suppose.

Ctgreat, if you have a cup, wear it and ask someone to kick you in the balls. Then let us all know how it feels. If you want to compare it to not having a cup, I recommend getting kicked the next day without one on.
You are the Dr. so i will just take your word for it, lol.
