I agree, I thought Browne was showing off a bit with his fancy footwork and flashy strikes. Dude needs to realize he's not Domenic Cruz, he's a 246lb HW. That being said, I think he's a very athletic HW and has good potential.

Bigfoot just kept his hands up and went about his business, good win. I still think he's slow, but he could still make some noise at HW.

How the fuck does a thread about Browne hurting his leg result in a rehashing of DSL's and a douchebag looking Baroni?

Some of those kicks he was throwing at the beginning were insane. I've never seen a heavyweight throw kicks like that. Shows what Browne is really capable of. Shame it had to end the way it did.

Toward the end of the video he does some incredible spinning kicks, the shit tripped me out. And Ivey's reactions are hilarious. You can find the full fight somewhere online.

gabe gonzaga makes a lot of sense as a replacement for mir.

I think we also have to take into account the cancellation of the Melendez/Healy card and how ZUFFA wants to go forward with their SF relationship. Do they really want to give Cormier a top ten challenger before he debuts in the UFC, bolstering a Showtime card and putting Cormier's awesome run at risk before they can get a major PPV bout out of him?
Never really thought about the relationship between Zuffa and SF and the run cormier is on like that i guess. I guess it is part of the business to quote un quote protect the up and coming fighters they have but as a die hard mma fan i just cant sell gonzaga vs cormier to myself because i think cormier would reck gonzaga. Werdum im fine with but he too could end the run of cormier just as easy as bigfoot. They are in a tough situation (ZUFFA) protect the fighter until he gets to the UFC or give him his UFC prep fight now and if he wins against a werdum or bigfoot give him the next title fight, which is what i thought they were going to do by giving him mir in the first place.

I think that's something they'll entertain and was one of the reasons they've waited so long to announce Cormier's SF replacement, on account of them wanting to see if any of the 4 HWs from the past week come out unscathed....

Interesting matchup right there. If Bigfoot can get AO on the ground he could win that fight...the question is could he get it there.

IMO, Bigfoot has some of the sickest GNP at HW and if he can get hands on his opponent, they're in rough shape. He's got serious BJJ and with top control, he can gorilla fuck nearly anybody in MMA.

I still don't think Fedor's "past his prime" and consider that victory an incredible feat of success. Cormier and Cain aren't losses to be ashamed of, he just really needs to tighten up his striking defense with a little more head and lateral movement. For me, is standup is what I'd describe as flatfooted yet hellaciously powerful. And while he does leave his chin out a bit too much from time to time, within the HW division he's a very well rounded.

I'd love to see Bigfoot/Overeem next, I'd put hard money on Bigfoot wrecking him.

Im not saying Big Foot is shit at all, BUT he did almost get knocked out by Mike Kyle (205er) in strikeforce and has only had 1 win against a top figher (Fedor, who was past his prime) and maybe the arlovski win if you count arlovski as a top fighter at the time. The last 2 big names he has faught before brown (cormier and cain)put a beat down on Big Foot and IMO i see that happening again if he fights any of the top 5 guys in the HW division.

Is Big foot shit? absolutely not. Does he get a little more credit then he should? IMO maybe a little
