dude what the hell are you talking about? AA is a small HW. he has a chin for a small hw. He's been Ko'd by guys with serious power, and he's also taken more solid shots and shook them off. It's not like he'd been Ko'd by jabs like Kimbo. Guys who don't get Ko'd in the HW division usually don't get touched on the chin by hard shots very often. AA's style leaves him open to counters, it's not his chin. That and he fights guys who weigh up to 265 and he fights at maybe 225-230. He's really a LHW fighting at HW. Granted there are some fighters like Fedor and Big Nog with exceptional chins. But most fighters in the HW division have the same chin AA has, they just avoid getting touched there as hard and as often....

Always felt bad for Arlovski. The guy has tons of skill and is a dangerous striker, but seems to go in a cycle of
    1. Badass terror
    2. KTFO
    3. Afraid to pull the trigger

...where he spends most of his time at part 2 and 3 of the cycle. I have to believe if he had the chin of even an average fighter he would have gone on a real tear. Would love to see him pull off one more streak while he is still young enough.

Also, gotta agree with whoever mentioned Karo. Ton's of skill but just couldn't get in solid mental or physical shape.

Whatever happened to that guy that was supposed to be Fedor's protégé...

Agree... On paper Vera had all the Skills.... The standup, the wrestling, the BJJ

He just couldnt put it together in MMA

Kang never seemed the same after the Akyama fight... He had so much promise in Pride...

Gouveia is another good one. On paper his skills are very good.

like has already been said brendon vera came into UFC like a storm then fell apart. I dont know what happened but I still think he has a lot more in there.
Anthony Johnson was another that had all the talent but sadly lacking in dicipline(maybe trying to fight 2 classes below what he should) but could have been so much more.
One I didnt see mentioned(maybe because he did manage to become SF champ) but I think Nat Marquart belongs on this list. In UFC he could always win to get to the top contender but then fell apart.

I disagree with Aleks Emelianenko because he has won most of his fights.
A different thing is that now he rarely fights, and when he does, it is against cans.

actually, thanks for the junie reference, I had forgotten all about him. Also, Ed Herman. Maybe I bought the self-promotion, but I always expected more out of him.
