I'm sure glad Lyoto is helping out, he can really teach Glover about some of his amazing Octagon Control.

Glover Teixeira linking up with Lyoto Machida ready himself for “Rampage” Jackson

According to Teixeira, he is expecting to spend some time with Lyoto Machida while getting ready for his January 26 date with Jackson at UFC on FOX 6. Machida lost his match-up with Jackson by Split Decision though many felt he’d done enough to win.

“I’ll probably train in California, and I think Machida should be there, yes,” acknowledged Teixeira in an interview with TATAME. The two talented competitors have linked up before thanks to their affiliation with the respected Team Blackhouse group.

Teixeira didn’t go into details about his fight with Jackson, though did state, “The expectation is for a tough fight,” explaining that there are no easy opponents in the UFC.

With the added insight of Machida, the 19-2 Teixeira should pose even more of a threat to Jackson’s hopes of testing free agency with a win in tow. Teixeira is currently on a seventeen fight winning streak including finishes in both of his UFC fights.
