    - Cote has a great chin, and heavy hands.
    - Every time Alessio has lost by KO/TKO, it's been in the first round.
    - Every single KO/TKO by Cote has been in the first round.

I bet on the stats and picked Cote by R1 TKO.

Until he started donkey konging the back of Cote's melon, Sakara's strikes looked pretty fuckin' spot on.
Id agree with this assessment. I dont hold any real blame against sakara for strikes to the back of the head.. I mark that up more towards adrenaline then any sort of bad intention. I do agree with Dana's position though, that the fight should have been ruled a no-contest over a win for Cote.

Was a great fight up to the point things got... iffy.

His chin, his chin, his chin. Yeah who was ass up after being destroyed. Accept the gift Cote fans. We'll see come rematch.

Everyone flapping their gums about Sakara having no chance and no chin, just own up and admit what happened.

Sakara looked great. Answered some questions about his own chin and he had Cote hurt. Didn't see where Cote went "limp" mind you, at least from the legal shots he threw. With all that said, it's Sakara's own dumb ass fault for being reckless with his shots and has nobody to blame but himself. Hopefully we get a rematch as the brawl that opened up this fight was a lot of fun to watch.

I think you might need to watch the fight again.. I am not so sure about Cote getting dropped and going limp after the one hammer fist.

you chastised him, yet for Sakara it is a different story... Why am I not surprised...
I didn't even watch the belfort akiyama fight. Nice try though. But I would say the difference being, Vitor has shown a history of doing this and has never had a victory overturned in the octagon.

Fight should of been stopped by that shitty ref. sakara is the rightful winner and made Cote look like an overrated turd he is. Sucks it ended like that but Cote was destroyed in under 90 seconds. So much for that chin of his.

Shitty reffing yes but nothing to do this this 'Canadian Commission' you speak of.

Love watching Hendricks fight... that guy has pure power... Beyond someone like Koscheck... His power is on another level...

I would love to see him fight GSP... Even though he gets beat everywhere... but he is still deserving and VERY dangerous to GSP...

He has the power to KTFO GSP with one punch... and the wrestling to give GSP some resistance if he tries to take him down.... and actually has the ability to put GSP on his back....

It probably wont amount to much if you put it all together, somewhat like the Koscheck fights... but still a deserving and dangerous Contender....

GSP looked as impressive as I have ever seen him... better than Fitch and Alvez imo... based upon who he was fighting...

It was good to see him back, and not turn into another tragic story about an athlete that is never the same after a severe knee injury.

Hendricks has that same scary ferocity that Chuck/Hendo have when they throw. Nobody finishes Fitch and Kampmann like that without being a serious nightmare. I don't know how you go about explaining how that man is not the #1 contender
