Maybe Dan should have yelled it in Italian...

I agree with Mizjitszou on not sure what he said. My thought is due to Cote was on queer street before the punches in question a No Contest be issuied. None of this needed to get this far poor job refing. Dan should of been louder even intervien by the second ileagal blow, as this was the deciding part of the fight. Hopefully they both get to rematch and it should draw great ratings too.
Yes SE one of the longest Sakara threads

Erick Silva got a DQ for a similar situation. It seems to be the standard practice now for fighters to be DQ'ed if they commit fouls trying to end a fight. Fighters should know the rules, and it should be common knowledge that if you try to finish a fight with hammerfists to the back of a guys head you will get DQ'ed. What's wrong with that, making fighters fight fair?

    end it with a left
If the fighter is unable to continue due to his opponent throwing an illegal strike than it is a dq. It is as simple as that. If one knee to a downed apponent knocks him out its a dq not a nc so I don't see why Sakara=excitement is making an issue about the number of illegal strikes thrown or about warnings. Guys know the rules way before they get into the octagon, warnings are for minot offences like grabbing the fence. Like I said if one illegal knee ko's a guy when is a ref supposed to issue that warning?

After the second hammer fist, Dan yells, "watch the back of the head". Can be clearly heard on the fight video posted earlier in the thread.

Dan states on record he warned Sakara twice.

On an unrelated note, this is definitely the longest thread ever involving Alessio Sakara.

I didnt notice anything at the time out of Dan, but that doesnt mean it wasnt there. His back was to the camera, and I didnt hear it... doesnt mean it wasnt there, and if guys who's opinions I respect saw/heard it, Im willing to believe it was there.

Would I not be at fault for breaking the law if the cops were to busy eating donuts too arrest me or chase me down?

Sakara should have some self restraint to refrain from throwing illegal punches.. You don't continue to thrown them until a point is taken - after already being warned.
