He told me yes. But I think there’s a lot to be negotiated. I don’t know much more than that,” said Zahabi
In related news, I just heard the Fink tell someone Fedor is close to signing with the UFC.

Georges St-Pierre tells trainer he wants to fight Anderson Silva next - Five Ounces of Pain : Five Ounces of Pain
Though the situation is still developing, leaving details scarce at best, St-Pierre’s chief trainer Firas Zahabi confirmed his fellow Canadian’s interest in a clash with Silva during a brief exchange with the Canadian Press.

“He told me yes. But I think there’s a lot to be negotiated. I don’t know much more than that,” said Zahabi.

As implied, a number of steps still need to be taken before a St-Pierre/Silva bout becomes reality including an agreed-upon weight. Silva’s camp has said he can dip down as low as 178 pounds, while St-Pierre’s side has stated any move up could be a permanent one and he would prefer things to take place at welterweight.

Regardless, Zahabi’s information marks the first major sign St-Pierre is leaning towards Silva rather than attempting to extend his streak of title-defenses by facing Johny Hendricks or Nick Diaz.

For Anderson; he's bigger, he's at the end of his career, he wants to use this fight as his swan song, and there aren't as many contenders at MW

For GSP; he's smaller, he is in the prime of his career, he just came back from 18 months off, and there are plenty of fresh contenders at WW
There may not be many clear cut contenders at MW but there's Weidman and Bisping and that's one more than he needs for his next fight.

Plus, that's one more gif I'd constantly have to post.

    Too much extra work.

Gonna be hard for anyone to top the Hendo KO. Hopefully Anderson toys with him and lands another uppercut elbow or something if they do fight.

Bisping is a very good point fighter so my question is if Belfort doesn't win fast is he prepared to go into later rounds. If Bisping gets past I see Silva feal him out rd1 than do his jab which Forest found difficult. So Mikey might make it into round 3 if he's lucky as he doesn't have the skill for Silva.
