8 fight deal doesn't mean shit when Zuffa can drop Rousey after a single fight.

Imagine how much Miesha Tate must bitch and moan on a daily basis.

No shit not tapping made Rousey more famous for breaking Tate's arm. A break during a submission always makes the submission look that much better. Tate can be happy that she played a role in putting WMMA on the map.

Could have put it on a Fox card then if numbers looked good and the Cyborg fight falls in place have them main event a PPV.
Shes had fights in strikeforce, i think Dana has a ballpark idea of the numbers it will draw...add the UFC press and marketing ability and this is GOLD, the addition of Hendo/Machida as the co-main event makes it even better.

Miesha Tate: UFC may be ?putting too many eggs? in Ronda Rousey's basket, armbar 'stubbornness' helped her explode - MMAmania.com

According to Tate, the UFC isn't doing the smartest thing by "putting too many eggs in one basket," just in case Carmouche pulls off the upset. On top of that, Tate also feels she deserves some credit for putting Rousey on the map:

"I think they're putting a little too many eggs in one basket. I mean, What happens if (Rousey) goes out there and she does lose to Liz for some reason? Then it's kind of like, all of this that they've put into it is all nothing. I feel like it's not maybe the smartest thing to just base everything solely off of Ronda, when clearly there's more talent and I'm also right here, too. I really feel like I was a big part of making history. If I'd just tapped out when Ronda got me in the armbar, it wouldn't have been such an explosive thing. I feel like the reason she's up for submission of the year is because of my stubbornness."

Hell, I'm a supporter of WMMA but as a fan that picks and chooses which shows I'm willing to lay cold hard cash to watch, I don't think this is one of them.
I would shill it out without the co main event being what it is, but with Hendo on there I am thinking about buying tickets and flying out to cali to watch this one. Rousey plus Hendo = hip hip hooray in my mind.
